Irma Stern Museum, University of Cape Town

The Irma Stern Museum was established in 1971 and is the house the artist lived in for almost four decades. Several of the rooms have been left furnished as she arranged them, while upstairs there is a commercial gallery used by contemporary South African artists. The Irma Stern Museum is governed by the University of Cape Town and the Trustees of the Irma Stern Estate.
