Site Specific Land Art Biennale

Johannesburg, 1 Rhodes Avenue, Parktown

Site_Specific Land Art Events promotes site specific art in Africa, and aims to encourage communities to care for and appreciate their environment, as well as supporting and coordinating art and environmental creators and patrons. Site_Specific operates as a not-for-profit association of people who are passionate about site specific art, and the ways in which land art can enhance people’s sense of wellbeing and effect the integration of ‘culture’ and ‘nature’. In 2011, the organisation launched the International Land Art Biennale in Plettenberg Bay.
